Websites
Websites
Here is a shocking truth, if you don’t have a website online showing off your product and services with a custom brand email, that means you don't have a business at all.
In the AI age we live in today, having a website with a custom domain for emails is no longer a luxury.
It can dictate your brand’s perception online.
Lets say you built a business using the old ways of building a business through offline methods of networking and referrals etc.
You don’t really need a website, right? WRONG!
Even if you do have a profitable business offline, your lack of a website shows that you are not advancing with the times.
This affects your brand’s perception, which makes people think that your products and services are not even worth putting online for other people to see.
I can’t even start to explain how embarrassing that is.
Remember, when it comes to the online world, perception is reality.
The way you are perceived by your competition and your customers online, is a preview of the product or service that you offer. Its a very much like an unspoken intuitive review.
“But wait, I have a social media page. I have customers already.”.
That’s great.
Having a social media page and solely relying on likes and followers would have been a good strategy back in 2008 when social media was relatively new. However, with rising ad costs and reduced organic reach, a lead generating website is a necessity to survive the ever changing online business landscape.
Also, when you solely rely on social media pages to build your business online, you are building a business based on the hope that the social media giants wouldn’t update the algorithms reducing your brand’s reach to get more customers, let alone engaging with existing ones.
In recent social media algorithms updates, things have changed so significantly that people who liked and followed certain pages are not able to see the posts from the social media pages, which is bad for business.
Think of it this way.
Social media is like a meetup event, where you get a chance to meet new people.
A website is like your home, where you invite new people to have a more intimate conversation with.
If you don’t have a website, that means you are a homeless brand online. Is that good for your business?
Don’t you think your business deserves better?
