I know. It can be hard to believe, I understand.
Despite all the technological advancements with search engines, social media and space rockets, simple email marketing still remains king, when it comes to making a predictable income stream online.
Most people who get started with trying to get customers online, don’t invest time and resources into building an email list.
They hope and pray that their Google ranking and social media reach with paid ad conversions will remain the same.
The reality of the situation is that change is the only constant.
The one thing that has remained a constant other than change since the beginning of the internet is email marketing.
However, most people ruin their email marketing by spamming their users by sending “get money” emails.
When in reality email is a much more intimate and delicate way of building relationships with your subscribers.
This means that you should be leveraging copywriting principles in your story telling and ask NOTHING BACK!
We all have someone in our lives, who will contact us only when they need something from us.
If it wasn’t for that need, they wouldn’t contact you at all. That’s how you would come across when you constantly email them with offers and deals.
Very recently I subscribed to a finance broker’s email list for some information.
The first two emails were about the information that she had shared and the third email was her pitching a deal of her friend’s business with her cleavage on full display.
I’m like, “Huh? Just because you show a little cleavage, I’m supposed to just buy your friend’s stuff?”

The point that I’m trying to make is that emails are for building intimate relationships with your subscribers, not to ruin it with emails to relentlessly sell stuff.
